Sapphirescent Who?

Hi.

--I wish I was blue like a Sapphire, except if I was, I would look like a smurf. I dyed my hair blue-green once, but I liked the purple better on me.

--My name is Heaz Rain, and I am a Pennsylvania native. I always liked that word, native. It sounds so tribal. (Heaz is pronounced heh-z, not hee-az. Srsly. Yes, it's short for Heather.)

--I love peach tea, as long as it's not too sweet and has real peachyness in it.

--I made a collage once and constantly vow to do it again without actually getting it done.

--I've been falling in love with scarves and gloves lately, especially thick, hand-knitted ones.

--I am trained in the actorly ways of Mr. Stanislavsky, I minored in photography and art, but aren't we all just so much more than our education?

--I'm an explorer with an exquisitely insatiable wanderlust and not enough money to fulfill that wanderlust through travel. But once I do, I will explore the shit out of everywhere and everything. Truth.

--I'm a Pagan, but I love reading about and talking to people of other religions and spiritualities. Everyone has something important to say, ya know?

--My man, Tim, is the most amazing man in the world. He sings me "Habanera" from Carmen, Beaker-style from the muppets to cheer me up.

--I love the UK and Ireland. All of it. Every bit. I wish I could unhinge my jaw, shove the British Isles into my mouth, eat it, and become the whole thing. I miss Canterbury and my mates every day.

--I haven't found my spirit animal guide or chakras yet, but I'm working on it.

--Goddess Leonie Dawson is my hero.

And that's really just the beginning...
